Jiaxing Xinsen Plastic Co., Ltd. is a PP Sheet manufacturer based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, producing polypropylene sheet from our own plant since October 2001. Our range is built around the two grades most fabrication and industrial projects specify: Standard PP Plastic Sheets for general-purpose, high-frequency use, and PPH Sheet (polypropylene homopolymer) for chemically aggressive, low-temperature and regulated service.
Sheet is produced to drawing rather than picked from a fixed stock list. Thickness, sheet size, colour, surface pattern, grade and tolerance band are set by the end application, then confirmed with you before the first sheet is extruded.

Standard PP Sheet for General-Purpose and High-Frequency Use
Standard PP is a lightweight, high-toughness engineering plastic with a favourable cost-to-performance ratio, which is why it carries most volume applications in food packaging, logistics and industrial manufacturing. Its fatigue resistance keeps structures stable under repeated handling, and its chemical stability holds up against acids, alkalis and atmospheric exposure in aquaculture, outdoor signage and automotive parts.
- Stable electrical insulation for insulating plates and industrial pipe connections
- Moisture and water resistance with non-toxic, eco-friendly composition
- Easy cutting, welding and thermoforming for fabrication into finished parts
- Consistent sheet-to-sheet surface for printing, laminating and assembly lines
Full details of this grade are held on our Standard PP Sheet range, including natural and coloured options.
PPH Sheet for Corrosive, Cold and Regulated Environments
PPH is refined homopolymer polypropylene, engineered for demanding industrial service. It delivers noticeably higher mechanical strength and chemical stability than general-purpose PP, and it holds stable physical properties when handling chemical media or higher-temperature fluids.
Its low-temperature impact strength addresses the common failure mode of ordinary plastics becoming brittle in cold conditions, which matters for outdoor and unheated plant installations. In medical and food production the sheet is pure, hygienic and non-toxic, and its welding behaviour allows high-strength sealed joints in complex piping and tank systems. Our PPH Sheet range covers industrial-grade and multi-purpose variants.
Where PP Sheet Fits in Production
- Tanks, vessels and piping: welded PPH shells, baffles, covers and connection plates for chemical and water handling
- Food processing: cutting boards, container liners, conveyor components and wash-down panels
- Amusement and playground equipment: formed and machined panels for children's play structures and outdoor furniture
- Marine and outdoor facilities: corrosion-resistant cladding, dock components and signage substrates
- Electrical and industrial: insulating plates, machine guards and bucket and container fabrication
- Interior fit-out: flame-retardant panel cores and decorative facing layers
Critical Specifications We Confirm Before Production
Because polypropylene sheets performance is fixed at the extrusion stage, we settle the working specification with you rather than quoting a generic grade. The variables below are the ones that decide whether a sheet fabricates and performs as intended.
| Parameter |
Why It Matters |
| Grade (standard PP / PPH / modified) |
Sets strength, chemical resistance, low-temperature behaviour and weldability |
| Thickness and tolerance band |
Controls stiffness, weld prep dimensions and machining allowance |
| Sheet size and cut plan |
Reduces offcut waste and matches your nesting layout |
| Colour and opacity |
Affects visual matching, light transmission and pigment loading |
| Surface finish |
Determines slip, bonding behaviour, scratch appearance and printability |
| Functional additives |
Flame retardancy, UV and weather resistance, food-contact suitability |
Customization, Colour and Surface Options
Custom work is our core business, not an exception. We develop sheet against drawings or physical samples, and we hold three production approaches — three-layer co-extrusion, orange-peel pattern, smooth surface and frosted pattern — which lets us meet different colour, size and end-use requirements from the same plant.
- Colour matching to a supplied chip, Pantone reference or previous batch
- Multi-layer build-ups where a coloured core or contrasting face is required
- Single-sided or double-sided texturing for grip, appearance and bonding
- Cut-to-size sheets, blanks and machined profiles from your CAD files
Our wider board programme also covers PE grades; the PE Sheet range and its HDPE and LDPE families are produced alongside PP on the same site, which helps where one project mixes materials.
Quality Control and Acceptance
We implement full-process quality management. Inspection takes place after each production step, and finished sheet is finally inspected in line with your stated requirements and the applicable international standards. A complete set of testing equipment supports this routine, covering dimensional measurement, surface condition and material checks.
Four energy-saving production lines give us an annual output above 20,000 tonnes, which keeps repeat orders on the same process settings and reduces batch-to-batch variation. Where your acceptance procedure calls for it, we agree the inspection items, sampling plan and record format before production starts.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
To prepare an accurate configuration and quotation, we work from the following project inputs. Sending these with your enquiry shortens the technical exchange considerably.
- End application and the medium, load or environment the sheet will see
- Required grade, thickness, sheet dimensions and quantity per delivery
- Drawing or sample, including holes, rebates and welding edges where relevant
- Colour reference and surface finish, with a photo or chip where possible
- Functional requirements such as flame retardancy, UV stability or food contact
- Acceptance criteria, inspection items and required documentation
- Delivery port, packing preference and any handling constraints on site
Packing, Delivery and Order Support
Our plant sits at the intersection of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou, within a two-hour drive of Shanghai Port and Ningbo Port. Sea freight is our standard dispatch method, and air freight can be arranged through Ningbo or Shanghai airports when a schedule is tight. Sheet is packed to protect faces and edges, with pallet, crate or customer-specified marking agreed at order stage.
Batch production normally runs on a 30% advance with the balance against a copy of the bill of lading; T/T is standard and L/C terms can be discussed at quotation. Our export pattern covers North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Southern Africa, alongside customers across mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which PP sheet grade should a chemical tank project use?
PPH Sheet is the homopolymer grade we recommend for tank shells, baffles and welded pipework, because it combines higher mechanical strength with better chemical stability and low-temperature impact strength than general-purpose PP. For non-aggressive containment and general fabrication, Standard PP Sheet is usually sufficient and more economical.
Can you supply flame-retardant, UV-resistant or food-grade PP sheet?
Yes. Our PP sheet is produced in standard, flame-retardant, food-grade, UV-resistant, weather-resistant and high-strength modified types. Tell us the service condition and the standard you are working to, and we will match the additive system to it.
How is thickness, size and colour decided?
These are set from your drawing, sample or application requirement, then fixed in the production specification. We confirm colour against a chip, code or previous batch, and we agree the tolerance band and sheet size so that cutting, welding and machining allowances are already included.
What production capacity backs a repeat order?
We run four modern, energy-saving production lines with an annual capacity above 20,000 tonnes. The plant covers roughly 10 acres with more than 30 employees, including four invited industry experts and over 20 technical staff, and our R&D team works on-site on PP and modified PP development.
How do you handle quality objections after delivery?
Full-process control means each stage is inspected and finished sheet is finally checked 100% against your requirements and international standards. We carry out quality tracking after shipment and handle objections promptly once we have the batch reference, photographs and measured values.
Can you develop sheets from a sample rather than a drawing?
Yes. We support drawing-based processing and sample production for PP, PE and ABS plastic sheet in a range of materials, sizes and surface finishes. A physical sample is often the fastest route when colour, texture or flexibility must match an existing part.
